Nanette Medved-Po, founder of HOPE and PCX, was recently awarded as part of Asia Society’s roster of game-changing individuals that have demonstrated inspiring leadership.
Asia Society is a global institution that aims to bring a more profound knowledge of Asia across the world. The Asia Game Changer Awards recognize individuals and groups from every walk of life, whose actions embody the organization’s mission and contribute to positive societal change.
The 9th edition of Asia Game Changer Awards honors heroes who are addressing the global climate change problem, amplifying the conversation around this, and coming up with visionary solutions.
“Today's headlines make it clear that business as usual has failed us. We need to reexamine what success should look like. How should we be redefining performance and value creation? These are not new ideas, but they are urgent. The world cannot afford to continue to wait for us to get things right. We are reinforcing the idea that businesses, when they choose to be, can be incredible forces for good. Let’s get to work,” shared Medved-Po.
Alongside Medved-Po were fellow honorees Michael Bloomberg, Kathy Jenil-Kijiner, Ma Jun, Navina Khanna, and Janet Yang.
